According to sources, Manikandan was long associated with LG and had contributed immensely towards its success in the segment. Now, he will be taking care of HP IPG consumer channels and sales as director of Inkjet, which include the HP Deskjet, HP Photosmart, Officejet and Officejet Pro and Retail Photo Solutions, sources confirmed. R Manikandan himself has not yet affirmed his joining at HP; though sources reported he has definitely left LG.
Manikandan joined LG as Senior General Manager -Sales&Marketing (IT Products) at LG to later become Business Head for B2B and Business Solutions at LG Electronics. Prior to this, he headed Sales at Acer communications and Multimedia, sources reported.
An Engineering graduate from the Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Manikandan has an expertise in sales and marketing of IT hardware, with strong insight into IT retail and channel management.
