F5 Intros Sales And Technical Accreditation Program

F5 Networks, a provider of application delivery networking (ADN), has launched new global sales and sales engineering training program. The sales engineers will receive thorough training on product features and benefits, basic deployment architectures, and the most common use cases for every product in F5’s solution portfolio.

The program illustrates the value of F5 solutions and enables resellers and distributors to address the application delivery needs of their customers. Available for free, the training tools and accreditation programs enable partners to articulate cloud, virtualization, and data center initiatives of the company.

Upon completion, partners will be able to better recognize sales opportunities, map specific client needs to the F5 portfolio, define clear use cases, and deeper engagement with customers.

“As an extension of our global Unity Program, these offerings provide partners with the information and tools to clearly communicate the value of F5 technology,” said Dean Darwin, VP of Worldwide Channels at F5. “By augmenting our partner training programs to capture the breadth of F5’s application delivery and storage optimization capabilities, we’re ultimately helping partners forge deeper sales engagements and enabling customers to take advantage of everything F5 can do for their organizations.”

Partners will go through comprehensive training modeled after the same resources and content used by F5’s internal sales and technical employees. This approach will bolster consistency throughout the partner ecosystem and help ensure that organizations representing F5 have the same access to valuable subject matter expertise. Accreditation programs focus on the entire F5 portfolio, including all BIG-IP software modules, thus expanding partners’ ability to provide integrated solutions to address their customers’ evolving business objectives.

Sales and Technical accreditation programs will be available now, and broader sales accreditation training will be available in the first half of calendar year 2011. Training materials will be initially available worldwide in English, and F5 plans to offer additional language support looking forward.
