Value-added distributor Virtual Netcomm has signed a distribution agreement with Enterasys Networks—a Siemens Enterprise Communications company. Under the terms of the agreement, Virtual NetComm will distribute the entire range of Enterasys products and solutions in India and Southeast Asia.
"With its reputation for highly reliable, high-performance networking products and solutions apart from exemplary service and support, Enterasys will complement our current set of solutions offerings" said Rajendra Shah, Group CEO, VNPL.
“Partnering with Virtual Netcomm is a major milestone in the expansion of our India and Asean go-to-market model and enables us to increase the coverage in the region. We are confident that together with Virtual Netcomm, we will improve the service to our customers and resellers,” said Asli Aktas, Director, Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific, Enterasys.
VNPL which is attempting to be a pan-Asia distributor has currently offices in six countries in the region. It is planning branch offices in four more Asian countries this year.
VNPL is in a major portfolio expansion mode and over the past six months has signed up with several new vendors including Ruckus Wireless, Palo Alto, Mindjet, and Barracuda. The company said that it has several new partnerships lined up for the next six months. “We have lined up at least one partnership per month over the next six months,” informed Shah.
