XFX Introduces AMD Radeon HD 6970 And HD 6950


Recently, XFX launched two graphics cards AMD Radeon HD 6970 and HD 6950. The new cards are 3D ready and boast of multi-media solution for desktops.

The company will also offer additional versions and special editions of these cards to custom-fit the specific needs of the gamer. Available in both single and dual fan cooling solutions, factory over clocked, the special Black Edition is touted to be one of fastest products in the category. 

These DirectX 11-capable graphics cards come with 2GB DDR5 RAM, and offer up to 120Hz active shutter technology. The cards also include XFX 3E Technology—trilogy incorporating AMD Eye-Definition, AMD Eyefinity and AMD EyeSpeed.

Utilizing AMD’s HD3D technology, AMD Eye-Definition supports rich, life-like visuals and offers explosive HD gaming performance. AMD Eyefinity multi-display technology expands the view of the gaming landscape. AMD EyeSpeed Visual Acceleration Technology improves video image quality and application performance for crisp, incredible video, 3D photos and Blu-ray 3D. The technology also accelerates video formats like DiVX and DivX Plus HD and features improved performance with applications like Microsoft Office 2010, Internet Explorer 9 and Mozilla Firefox 4.

Multiple display options for up to 4 displays can be connected through a variety of MiniDisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4a, and DVI options.

Distributed by Rashi Peripherals, XFX 6970 is priced at `22,550 plus tax and XFX 6950 at ` 17,325 plus tax. Both cards come with a 3-year warranty.
