Enclosure manufacturer APW President has launched a new Website for Indian channels called www.cabinets-racks.com. The Website provides channels with an easy option to check prices and place orders. The company also launched a partner relationship management program to boost sales for the last quarter.
Through the Web portal, the company expects to efficiently track and manage sales order booking, inventory and market credit of the partners on a near real-time basis, thereby enabling accurate target-setting and better stock management.
To popularize the portal, the company has launched an incentive scheme. Visitors registering on the Website between December 28, 2010 and January 31, 2011, and placing their order and eventually completing the purchase within this period will receive a surprise gift.
“We are the first company in India to introduce the option of online sales order booking facility for partners and customers in the enclosure segment. The sales portal provides a single interface to our partners and end customers. This will improve availability and ease of buying of products online. The portal will also be a means to capture and process large volumes of real-time data and serve as a scalable window of interaction to include additional partners into our existing system,” said Pramod Agashe, Chief Operating Officer, APW President Systems.
