Cartridge World to Expand Franchisees in India


Cartridge World, a printer cartridge refilling and recycling company targets to open 16 stores and get about 30 franchise by end November.
Marking presence pan India, the vendor will soon open its stores in Ranchi, Gwahati, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Agra, Bhopal, Kanpur, Lucknow, Poona, Cochin, Coimbatore and Hyderabad.
Currently, our business is growing by 30 percent and we see a lot of opportunity in India,” said Mike Fuller, Managing Director of Cartridge World, Asia / Pacific, Middle East, and Africa.
The stores are owned and operated by independent franchises. “Our franchisers undergo a training of about 2-3 months, before they open the retail store,” said Naveen Rakhecha, CEO of Cartridge World, South Asia.
The company yesterday opened a store in Mumbai. This shall be its fourth store in the city and 14th in the country. The company plans to open 250 stores by 2010.
The store offers a while-u-wait service for refilling of inkjets and toners in addition to new cartridges and printers, photo quality paper, fax, and copier supplies.
