Asus Launches ABC

Asus has launched a new innovative partner communication program called ABC—Asus Business Connect—with an aim to improve communication with its partner community. Asus will provide 324 partners with its Videophone Touch AiGuru SV1T, a touch-enabled Skype videophone to enable them to communicate directly with the company’s senior management.
"This initiative will bridge the communication gap in smaller cities where we do not have enough field staff. Communication is the key to the success of any relationship and ABC is our step to initiate this communication with our valued partners. The communication channel through sub-distributor or distributor is not always the most effective way to reach to vendors and is sometimes too cumbersome for partners to partake in while engrossed in their busy schedule,” said Albert Tung, Managing Director, Asus India.
Asus is making an investment of Rs 51 lakh toward the installation of the videophones among 324 Elite Club partners in C, D and E Class cities. The first device was recently installed in Siliguri.
“Partners can get in touch with us for any issues, queries and feedback that they may have regarding our products or services. It is an initiative that will only be successful with the support of our partners as communication is always a two ways process,” added Tung.
The videophone—Touch AiGuru SV1T—allows making unlimited video Skype calls without a computer or additional hardware and software. It also features a full screen, touch-friendly and icon-based interface with Skype contact list which allows partners to call at a touch of a button. The device also supports voice dialing.
