ReIndia Expo will be Held in Mumbai Next Month

The Bombay Exhibition Grounds in Mumbai will host the first ReIndia Expo 2008 between March 6-8, which will bring together importers, exporters and manufacturers of recycled printer cartridges.
“It is the first of its kind expo in the country and will bring together the Indian cartridge remanufactuers, foreign companies that are looking to import from India and technology companies that provide components and training for remanufacturing and refilling of cartridges. We already have 100 exhibitors signed up for the exhibition,” said Veerendra Chopra, Trade Expo India Promotion, organizers of the event.
Delhi-based Computer Media Dealer Association (CMDA) has also booked a stall at the Expo. “Finally the cartridge remanufacturing industry is taking off in the country. Not only are the domestic users showing acceptance for our products, there is a huge export opportunity as well. We will represent our members to explore export opportunities among international visitors,” said Puneet Singhal, President,  CMDA.
Apart from CMDA, the Expo is supported by the Cartridge Recycler and Traders Association of India (CRTAI) and the Indian Cartridges Remanufactures and Recyclers Association (ICRRA).
Parallely there will also be a conference track that will consist of workshops, presentations and panel discussions about how India can become an export hub for remanufactured cartridges. “The workshops will train remanufactuers on new technologies for recycling cartridges, while the presentations and panel discussions will debate the business opportunities in this field and what India needs to do to become a global supplier like China,” added Chopra.
