Quarterly numbers excite Acer, revenues and profit rising

Acer, the leading Taiwanese PC maker has posted its quarterly reports with revenues soaring high.

As per the figures, the PC making giant has amassed $19.9 billion revenues along with profits in its core business for the last year. The numbers are much promising as compared to the numbers posted last year.

The last year figures indicate a rise of around 9.7% in revenues as compared to last year and PAT of around $15.1 billion. However, the bad numbers in Europe made Acer to post disappointing numbers for Q4.

However, poor weather and economic conditions in Europe held Acer's revenues below expectations in the fourth quarter of last year; since Europe is the mainstay for Acer.
