Su-Kam plans to raise Rs 2 bn, says IPO an option


Power products maker Su-Kam today said it will raise around Rs 2 billion within next six months for which it is looking at various options, including listing the firm on stock exchanges, according to PTI.
The company, which aims to be a billion-dollar entity in the next five years, said it also plans to achieve sales of Rs 10 billion by next fiscal.
``We will be raising around Rs 2 billion for expansion through equity, strategic investments... We are currently working on various options for raising it...,`` Su Kam Managing Director Kunwer Sachdev told PTI.
Asked if the company is looking at listing on stock exchanges, Sachdev said, ``We are working on it,` He, however, did not give further details.
